Mew RGB Secret Rares Confirmed Real in 30th Celebration

The cards people spent two months arguing about are real. 30th Celebration has started reaching a few store shelves ahead of its September 16, 2026 worldwide release, and multiple collectors have now pulled three Mew secret rares out of genuine packs — the same trio that leaked in July and got written off by a lot of people as fake.
They are numbered R/RGB, G/RGB and B/RGB.
What the RGB Mews actually are
Three cards, one per original game: Pokémon Red, Green and Blue. Red, green and blue are also the primary colors of light, which is the tell for the artist — all three are illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN, the Japanese designer behind the set’s new Futuristic Rare treatment, whose work leans heavily on light and color.
The “RGB” denominator is the unusual part. These sit outside the normal numbering, which is how they managed to stay hidden in plain sight.
Why they are on no official card list
This is the bit worth understanding, because it is going to confuse people for months.
Pokémon Japan does not officially reveal a set’s full secret-rare lineup until the following set releases. Because 30th Celebration launches worldwide simultaneously — a first for the TCG — TPCi did not publish the complete list either. PokéBeach notes the RGB cards are also absent from the card-list booklet packed in the Elite Trainer Box.
So the cards exist, are being pulled, and are officially unacknowledged. That may hold for several months. It appears to be deliberate: mythical Mew, hidden again.
Nobody knows the pull rate yet
Let us be clear about this, because it is where money gets lost. No pull rates have been published for this set at all — not for the RGB Mews, not for the Futuristic Rares, not for anything. PokéBeach’s own set guide has the pull-rate section sitting empty pending release. Expect them to be exceptionally rare, but “expected” is not a number.
What you can control is packs per dollar. Using the official MSRPs:
| Product | Packs | MSRP | Per pack | Available |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Booster Bundle | 6 | $26.94 | ~$4.49 | October 2 |
| Knock Out Collection | 2 | $9.99 | ~$5.00 | September 16 |
| Poster Collection | 3 | $14.99 | ~$5.00 | September 16 |
| Pokémon ex Box | 4 | $21.99 | ~$5.50 | September 16 |
| Elite Trainer Box | 9 | $49.99 | ~$5.55 | September 16 |
| Ultra-Premium Collection | 29 + 1 Classic pack | $179.99 | ~$6.00 | November 6 |
Remember there is no standalone booster box for this set. Packs contain five foil cards (one of them always one of the 30 Pikachu), plus a foil Basic Energy and a code card. The Booster Bundle on October 2 is the cheapest route to packs at MSRP — but it is three weeks after launch.
The honest warning about early copies
The pre-release product that produced these pulls reportedly came from an unauthorized source inside the distribution chain and may have been stolen. eBay has already removed leaked 30th Celebration listings under its Stolen Property Policy after notice from TPCi.
Translation: a “pre-release” RGB Mew on the secondary market right now carries real risk — of being pulled mid-transaction, of being a counterfeit riding the confusion, or of grading services declining it. Nothing on an unrevealed card is verifiable yet. Wait for released product, buy sealed, and open it yourself.
We will be carrying authentic sealed 30th Celebration as each wave lands — English and Japanese, priced sensibly, shipped directly from us. See what is in stock.
MSRPs and dates above are as reported on September 10–12, 2026 and are directional — schedules and prices move. We do not quote market prices on cards that have not officially been revealed.
