30th Celebration Card Leak: What to Know

by Antoine Wright on Jul 13, 2026
Officially revealed Pokémon 30th Celebration Classic Collection cards — Base Set Charizard and Pikachu & Zekrom-GX — with the 30th Celebration booster wrap

Over the weekend, scans of what appears to be the 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box's set-list booklet spread across social media — and if they're real, they give us our first look at much of the set's chase-card lineup ahead of the worldwide September 16, 2026 release. Here's what surfaced, what lines up with official reveals, and why we're treating the rest as rumor for now.

What reportedly leaked

The images circulating are said to be from the player-guide booklet packed inside the 30th Celebration ETB, which typically lists the set's cards. The scans reportedly show a wide swath of the set, including its Classic Collection — 30 reprinted cards from across Pokémon TCG history, each carrying a "30" Pikachu stamp and a special holofoil treatment — plus newer-era chase cards. Sylveon, Gengar, and Jirachi have been early fan favorites from the leak chatter.

Notable cards in the leak

Several of these were already teased on Japan's official 30th anniversary website back in June, which makes the weekend scans more believable. Standouts collectors are watching:

Card Original set
Charizard Base Set
"Crystal" Lugia Aquapolis
Shining Celebi Neo Destiny
Dark Tyranitar EX Team Rocket Returns
Gengar "Prime" HS—Triumphant
Magikarp (Illustration Rare) Paldea Evolved

On the modern side, Jirachi ex was officially revealed on July 7, and Sylveon ex has been named as one of the set's ex Box headliners — so some of what the leak shows is already confirmed through official channels.

Why we're staying cautious

We sell on trust, so we'll say it plainly: an unconfirmed booklet scan is not an official reveal. A big chunk of this lineup was foreshadowed by The Pokémon Company's own teaser, which is encouraging — but in an era where convincing fakes and AI-generated "scans" circulate constantly, nothing here is locked until The Pokémon Company confirms it. Card numbers, rarities, and print details can shift between a leaked booklet and the final product.

Our advice: enjoy the hype, but don't make buying or selling decisions — especially paying leak-driven premiums on singles — based on unconfirmed images. Wait for official card reveals before treating any of this as gospel.

What this means if you collect it

If the leak holds, 30th Celebration is shaping up to be one of the most collector-focused sets in years, blending nostalgia reprints with new-era ex cards. That's exactly the kind of release worth planning for at MSRP rather than chasing at launch-window markups. When authentic sealed 30th Celebration product is available, we'll be carrying it. See what's in stock right now.

Everything attributed to the leak above is unconfirmed and directional; dates, card names, and set details can change, and we don't quote prices on unreleased product.
