Delta Reign Set Guide: Card List, Rarities and What to Buy Before November 6

Delta Reign, the sixth English Mega Evolution set, releases November 6, 2026. Prerelease events are running now through November 1, and the full English card list is out. Here's what's in the set, where the chase cards sit, and how we'd think about buying sealed.
Delta Reign at a glance
The set is built around Mega Rayquaza ex and adds four new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex: Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex and Mega Golisopod ex. The final list has 141 cards: 103 in the main set and 38 secret rares numbered above it.

Where the chase cards are

Most of the set's value will sit in seven cards: the six Special Illustration Rares and the single gold Mega Hyper Rare, card 141, Mega Rayquaza ex. With only one gold card in the set, expect it to be the hardest pull and the most expensive single on launch week.

Delta Reign's own pull rates haven't been published. For context, recent English sets have put Special Illustration Rares at roughly 1 in 80 packs, per community tracking, so treat any single box as a lottery rather than a plan. One more collector note: per PokéBeach, two Japanese cards didn't make the English set, the full art Mega Rayquaza ex and the regular Eevee ex.
Which sealed product fits you?
Booster boxes suit people chasing the set or opening for fun. Elite Trainer Boxes add the Kyogre promo, sleeves and dice, which makes them the usual collector pick. Booster bundles are the budget way in. Trackers cite approximate US retail around $50 for the ETB, $27 for a bundle and $160 for a booster box, but these are early figures, and secondary-market prices on launch week can run well above retail.
There's also a free promo if you're buying at a big-box store. Per PokéBeach, spending $15 on Pokémon TCG products at a participating retailer gets you a 30th-anniversary stamped promo:
| Promo | Where (US) |
|---|---|
| Kyogre | Hot Topic, Barnes & Noble, BoxLunch, Macy's |
| Groudon | GameStop |
| Giratina | Best Buy |
Our honest take
New-set hype usually peaks in the first weeks, then settles once supply catches up. With the chase concentrated in seven cards, most packs will be ordinary, so buy what you'll enjoy opening and don't assume sealed product always appreciates.
