Flowing Fists: Mega Lucario Z ex Set Arrives February 5
Pokémon has officially revealed the next small Mega Evolution set, and it introduces a new twist: Z Mega Evolutions. Japan gets it first as Aura Seeker, with the English version, Flowing Fists, following in early 2027. Here's what's confirmed and what isn't.
What's confirmed
Per PokéBeach, Aura Seeker is Japan's M7 set and the first to feature the Z Mega Evolutions, led by Mega Lucario Z ex. Flowing Fists is the seventh main English Mega Evolution set, following Delta Reign (releasing November 6). Prerelease events run January 23 to 31, with the full release on Friday, February 5, 2027.

What to expect from the card list
Flowing Fists is described as nearly a 1:1 copy of Aura Seeker, so the English set should be small. Earlier small English sets (Perfect Order, Chaos Rising, Pitch Black) each had about 80 main-set cards and roughly 40 secret rares, and that's a reasonable guide, though the final English count hasn't been confirmed. Revealed cards so far include Riolu, Sigilyph ex, Gible, Gabite, Flygon and Korrina's Determination.
Should you buy anything yet?
Not yet, in our view. Pricing and the English product lineup haven't been announced, and Delta Reign is the nearer-term release. Smaller sets can be fun to open and tend to concentrate the chase into fewer cards, but there's no guarantee about how sealed product will hold value. Our practical advice: watch for the official English lineup, decide whether you want boxes to open or to keep sealed, and set a budget before launch-week prices spike.
